RLPAC seeking young water professionals

Water Research Australia has called for expressions of interest from young water professionals to join its Research Leadership Program Advisory Committee (RLPAC).

The RLPAC is an operational advisory group that provides advice and expertise on a range of capability development products for members' professional development.

Representatives of Water Research Australia (WaterRA) are drawn from member organisations.

The open position available on the RLPAC is for an emerging leader who can bring fresh and engaging ideas that deliver benefits to WaterRA members for development to the committee.

It is open to current PhD Students or young water professionals who have commenced their working career within the last five years. A young water professional includes postdoctoral researchers, research fellows and industry water professionals.

The future committee will be an operational advisory group that provides advice and expertise on new products to form WaterRA's education program, such as developing program scope, methods to engage with members, participating in member workshops, and developing products from member feedback.

Interested applicants can view the terms of reference, or contact Research Capability Manager Carolyn Bellamy. Expressions of interest can be made by completing the application form and emailing it to Bellamy.

Submissions close Friday March 12, 2021.
