Now in its 34th year, our Water in the Bush Conference is the Territory’s premier annual water conference connecting water professionals, the community and industry from across Australia to share information and knowledge about the current and future state of water the Territory's water and inspire positive change.
Supporting this conference is the trade display, giving delegates the opportunity to see the latest products and services on the market and providing organisations the opportunity to build contacts and improve existing relationships.
Keynote Speaker - Eric Vanweydeveld
Eric is the Director of Aquanex and works as a consultant across Northern Australia and in the Pacific by providing expertise to various governments and organisations. Eric is a water engineer who specialises in the conception, planning and delivery of water strategies and infrastructure projects in remote context where holistic solutions are required.
Eric is the author of the WSAA report: Closing the Water for People and Communities Gap.
As part of his Winston Churchill fellowship, Eric travelled to the middle East to investigate proven low-cost innovative water treatment solutions for regional & remote Australia.
Event Details
Following day one of the conference, the NT Water Awards winners will be announced at the Conference Dinner. The dinner is included in a full registration or can be purchased separately.
