NT Water in the Bush Conference and Awards Dinner 2022

Now in its 33rd year, our Water in the Bush Conference is the Territory’s premier annual water conference connecting water professionals, the community and industry from across Australia to share information and knowledge about the current and future state of water and inspire positive change.

Supporting this conference is the trade display, giving delegates the opportunity to see the latest products and services on the market and providing organisations the opportunity to build contacts and improve existing relationships. Following day one of Conference, we will celebrate the NT Water Awards at the Conference Dinner.

Minister's Address

Hon Lauren Moss Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water Security; Minister for Equality and Inclusion; Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention; Minister for Seniors; Minister for Youth Lauren Moss is the Northern Territory’s first Minister for Climate Change, incorporating responsibility for Environment and Water Security. A long-standing advocate in youth mental health and education, Lauren is also Minister in the portfolios of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention; Equality and Inclusion; Youth, and; Seniors. Lauren was elected in 2014 to the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly as the member for Darwin’s northern suburbs electorate of Casuarina. She was the Territory’s youngest parliamentarian when she won a by-election, aged 27.

Following day one of the conference, the NT Water Awards winners will be announced at the Conference Dinner. The dinner is included in a full registration or can be purchased separately.

COVIDSafe Event Guidelines
The Australian Water Association has closely followed Government recommendations to develop COVIDSafe Guidelines for AWA events going forward. These guidelines will be in place at this event and have been developed to ensure attendee health and safety. Your support is also essential to keep this event COVIDSafe. We ask that delegates observe good hygiene and physical distancing at the event, where possible. If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the event. Please email events@awa.asn.auat least 24 hours prior to the event if you are unable to attend due to illness. Under these circumstances a transfer of your registration to a colleague will be accepted at no cost. If Government restrictions impact your ability to attend, or AWA's ability to hold the event, an AWA team member will be in touch to discuss your registration.
