Join us for our July sundowner to hear from Kate Simmonds and Jack Lu from Jacobs exploring the intersection of the Spatial and Informative aspects of Digital Twins.

From February to October the WA Branch Committee will host monthly informal networking events in the form of after-work Sundowner drinks. Each month we'll have an interesting topic for discussion and the opportunity to meet and catch up with others working in water. Our sundowners are free for both AWA members and non-members and you are welcome to bring a friend.

Jack Lu 21

Jack Lu, Digital Delivery Technical Lead, Jacobs Group
Jack is a principal mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in contributing to diverse water infrastructure projects across Australia. In his role at Jacobs ANZ’s water business, he diligently oversees the governance of Digital Engineering frameworks for the successful delivery of projects, including the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant. His core responsibilities involve devising and implementing strategies, workflows, and digital tools to enhance efficiency through effective collaboration and coordination across all stakeholders and the supply chain

In response to the pressing need for efficiency and innovation, the water sector is increasingly embracing Digital Solutions. At a  previous AWA sundowner hosted by Jacobs, Jack delved into the definition of ‘Digital Solutions’ and its problem-solving capabilities. Building on that discussion, Jack will reflect on the collaborative workflows designed to enhance digital coordination among diverse stakeholders within complex alliance structures.
