Join the SA Young Water Professional Committee as we explore leadership and how to lead no matter the situation in the AWA’s “Conscious and Courageous Leadership Workshop ” sponsored by Osmoflo. It is easy to confuse leadership with authority or power, however, leadership is important in any role. The SA YWP committee invites you to a workshop set out to empower you, the water industry’s early career professionals, to realise your leadership potential at any stage in your career.
During this workshop you will hear from Keynote Speaker Ally Nitschke. Ally is an engaging, entertaining and insightful speaker and presents on the topics of self leadership, team leadership, and tough conversations. Ally delivers a fresh approach to the way we interact with each other. Often described as highly relatable, Ally speaks about the importance of connection over engagement, leaning into discomfort and leading your own life first. Following her speech, Ally will run an interactive workshop on the topic Self Awareness, which is the first of the three pillars of leadership she has talked about in her book the Rise of the Courageous Leader. The evening will wrap up with some time to network over drinks and nibbles.
As a bonus, all attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Ally’s book at the end of the workshop!
The YWPs cannot wait to see you there. The event is likely to sell out, so make sure to register now!
