SA YWP Forum July 2023
The AWA SA Young Water Professionals (YWP) committee is excited to announce the SA YWP Forum 2023: A journey through disaster response and integrated resilience sponsored by Steel Mains! Connect with other early career professionals in an impactful, thought-provoking, and engaging event that inspires attendees to consider their role in building a more resilient water future.
Over the past few years, we have seen an unprecedented level of disasters from floods to droughts and fires. These events have a significant impact on how the water industry can continue to deliver water and wastewater services for our state. This half day forum will focus on how we have responded to some of these events and how we can better prepare for future ones.
Come and learn from experienced professionals that will share their experiences and learnings. There will be time for attendees to collaborate and discuss these topics together, as well as networking food and drinks to close.
We’re excited to announce the Forum will include Hon. Karlene Maywald as the keynote speaker. Karlene Ann Maywald you can find out more about Karlene here https://www.linkedin.com/in/karlenemaywald
