SA YWP Amazing Race 2026

Come and join us for the end of year Amazing Race event to be held on Thursday 26th November 2026

Proudly sponsored by Aurecon, the SA Amazing Race is back on for 2026!

Gather your team and put on your sneakers for an afternoon filled with fun, clues, and challenges! Our Amazing Race will take you on a journey across town, where you’ll complete activities that will test your brains and brawn to receive your next clues until you reach the final pitstop. Each checkpoint will test your skills, teamwork, and determination.

Race details

Date: Thursday 26th November 2026

Time: Arrive at 4.15pm for the briefing with the race officially kicking off at 4:30pm

Start location: Hindmarsh Square, Adelaide

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes and clothes, water bottle, a hat, sunscreen, and a phone to take pictures (as a part of race challenges)

Networking event details

Location: End destination will be provided through clues along the way

Time: Expecting teams to arrive before 6.00pm

Food and drinks will be provided as part of the purchased ticket at the end destination.

Note: The end destination is only accessible via stairs, as always, the race itself will involve about 4km of walking. Please contact us to discuss accessibility if required.

Teams

If you have a team of 3 to 5 people before the event, send an email to Caitlyn Obst Caitlyn.Obst@sawater.com.au with your team name and members to ensure you can run the race together – bonus points available for team emails received before 16 November.  Individuals can also register and be allocated a team prior to the race.

Experience b-b-b-bonuses: Receive bonus points for having a mix of young professionals (<10yrs experience) and young at heart professionals (>10yrs experience) on your team. Extra points are also available if anyone on your team has <1 year experience.
