NT Sundowners (Darwin & Alice Springs) September 2026

Join us in either Darwin or Alice Springs for our September Sundowners to build your network with the NT water community. Our Darwin guest speaker is Liam Early from Power and Water Corporation who will provide his insights on the Manton Dam Return to Service, delivering the project on time and, under budget.  

The NT Branch Committee will hold quarterly informal networking events in the form of after-work Sundowner drinks, providing an opportunity to expand your water network in the Northern Territory. 

Our sundowners are free for both AWA members and non-members and you are welcome to bring a friend.

Darwin Guest Speaker 


Liam Early

 

Liam Early, Project & Construction Manager, Power and Water Corporation.

Liam has over 40 years' experience in the delivery of projects in England, New Zealand and Australia, with a breadth of project management across Manufacturing, Construction, Consulting, Mining and Utilities.

During his time with Power and Water Corporation Liam has been involved with significant projects including the Palmerston South Elevated Water Tank, Katherine PFAS Removal Plant and Manton Dam Return to Service. With the Manton Dam Return to Service due for completion in late 2026, Liam will provide his insights of delivering this project on time and, under budget.

When he's not on site, Liam has a passion for motorcycling and sailing, having just returned from a 4,600km ride with his youngest son to WA.
