AWA & WSAA National Reconciliation Week 2024 Webinar

This National Reconciliation Week, the AWA and WSAA will host a webinar celebrating incredible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories from the Australian water industry.

We will begin the webinar with an Acknowledgement of Country from Tamara Beck, Reconciliation Senior Project Manager, Yarra Valley Water.

You’ll hear from Water Corporation, about their RAP and Aboriginal Engagement Strategy, and the Aboriginal Communities Water Services Program which is now providing water and wastewater services for 142 remote Aboriginal communities.

You'll also hear about a predominantly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team who run the water treatment plant at Bamaga, Cape York.
