Elections are now open for the Queensland Branch Committee and the Young Water Professionals Subcommittee 2026. 

We are excited to announce that we have received 21 nominations for the 9 available positions on the Queensland Branch Committee, and 20 nominations for the 9 available positions on the Young Water Professionals Subcommittee. Consequently, elections will be held for both committees for the 2026-2028  2 year term.

Voting will be open until 5pm AEST on 12 May 2026.

To place your vote, your Access Key is the email address associated with your AWA membership and your password is your AWA membership number.

Voting Eligibility:
  • Only current financial members of the Australian Water Association (AWA) are eligible to vote in Branch Committee elections.
  • To be eligible, you must be either:
    • A Nominated Member under a Corporate Membership, or
    • An Individual Professional Member
  • Only members residing in the relevant State are eligible to vote in that State Branch Committee elections
  • If you are not a nominated member of your organisation, you are not eligible to vote.
  • Each eligible member is entitled to one vote only.
