Western Australian Water Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and collaboration
The 2025 Western Australian Water Awards have honoured the state’s most inspiring water professionals and projects, showcasing exceptional achievements in innovation, sustainability and community impact.
Announced at the Western Australian Water Awards Dinner, held at The Ritz-Carlton in Perth on 7 November, the awards recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations dedicated to shaping a sustainable water future for the state and beyond.
AWA Chief Executive Corinne Cheeseman congratulated all the finalists and winners, commending their commitment to advancing innovation and excellence across the water sector.
“The creativity, passion and dedication shown by Western Australia’s water professionals continue to raise the bar for our entire community,” Cheeseman said.
“From harnessing technology and science to protect water quality, to embedding Aboriginal Knowledge and leadership in waterwise planning, this year’s winners demonstrate what’s possible when collaboration and purpose come together.
“AWA is proud to celebrate these leaders and innovators who are making an extraordinary difference to the resilience and sustainability of water in Western Australia.”
This year’s Western Australian Water Award winners will go on to represent the state in the national Australian Water Awards, which will be presented at the AWA’s annual water conference and exhibition, Ozwater’26, in Brisbane.
