Inland waters are water bodies inland from the coastal zone and areas whose properties and use are dominated by the permanent, seasonal, or intermittent occurrence of flooded conditions. Inland waters include groundwater (superficial and confined aquifers), and surface water such as rivers, lakes, floodplains, reservoirs, wetlands, inland saline systems and parts of waterways that have been artificially modified.

We are still inviting submissions of abstracts* for presentation from all practitioners and organisations with experience in inland waters including technical, social, policy and planning. Inland waters have relevance to many industries and communities and we hope to receive abstracts over the entire spectrum of areas and stimulate conversation across all aspects of the topic.

Abstracts will be peer reviewed to determine presentations for the event program.  It should be noted that all presentations will be made publicly available to attendees following the event.

An abstract template is available using this link - here
* Abstracts only to be submitted, full papers are not required.

Submissions for the Symposium have been extended. For any queries and to submit your abstract please contact wa@eianz.org.

Program Partnership opportunities are available for this event. Contact WA Branch Manager, Kyllie Whitehead, email kwhitehead@awa.asn.au or tel 0448 146 222 for further information.
