Join the WA Young Water Professional's walking tour of the Fiona Stanley Hospital site followed by a Q&A session with the Energy & Utilities Manager and Engineering & Projects Service Delivery Manager of the site.

Fiona Stanley Hospital is a 783-bed public hospital and includes the 140-bed State Rehabilitation Service, a 30-bed purpose-built mental health unit and the State Burns Service. It has been fully operational since February 2015 and is now the major tertiary hospital in the south metropolitan area. Daily management and ongoing maintenance of all water utilities within FSH are key to its continued function and includes:
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning
- Stormwater harvesting
- Water supply, including specialised water quality treatment
Each of these elements will be addressed in a walking tour of the site followed by a Q&A session. Participants are required to wear closed-in shoes and be physically able to walk for 1.5 hours and climb stairs.

Robert Kerrigan, Energy & Utilities Manager
The E&U Manager manages the supply of all Utilities to the Site providing a comprehensive Energy and Utilities Service to ensure business continuity of Health Functions and other services provided at the Hospital and within the Site.
Robert is an experienced professional electrical engineer and commenced in this role prior to the hospital opening in 2015.  He has extensive prior utility experience of over 25 years with Western Power and Horizon Power.

John Pereira
The Engineering & Projects Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the Hospital infrastructure.  Operations are handled by the Estates Maintenance team, and the Engineering & Projects team provides Asset Management, CAD, Reliability Centred analysis, Engineering auditing and high level support as well as Project Management for building and additional works.
John is an experienced professional electronics and biomedical engineer with over 30 years in healthcare.
