A message from the conference chair
I would like to invite you to attend this exciting QWater Conference which will focus on collaboration and the critical role knowledge-sharing can play in the development of our region and beyond. The ongoing challenge to increase the realisation of the value of water by customers in the face of economic and environmental change will require collaboration and can only be achieved when we openly share our experiences and knowledge. This year's program showcases a broad range of presentations focused on sharing issues that are likely to influence the future management of water. We encourage attendance from all disciplines within our industry, across roles in STEM and HSE to legal, accounting and human resources as well as from organisations such as suppliers, consultants, contractors and water utilities.
The Association’s previous Queensland Conferences have been very successful and have enjoyed strong growth over the years, with over 180 people attending recent conferences. Hope to see you in November!

This $70m project is the first stage of a multi stage plan that will provide a city wide long term release solution for excess recycled water, produced by the city’s four sewage treatment plants. Although only in the early stages of a two year project, the stage 1 works includes two very complex and challenging trenchless crossings of Nerang River and the Broadwater.
