Cambodia

Cambodian Water Conference and Exhibition, 30 October - 1 November 2019, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The event, hosted by AWA’s partner, the Cambodian Water Association, offers the opportunity to meet with key decision makers across the Cambodian public and private sector and get involved with the Australian Governments and AWA’s program in water and wastewater. 

The delegation supports the Australian Government’s five-year “Investing in Infrastructure” (3i) program, which is stimulating extension of essential piped, treated water infrastructure to hundreds of thousands of Cambodians.

The delegation will include business introductions, technology demonstrations, networking events, exhibition space in the Australian pavilion and site tours. This mission will be coordinated with the below mission to Vietwater.

  • Pre-departure and in-country briefings with experts in the Cambodia water sector
  • Business introductions with Cambodian private sector companies and water utilities
  • Get involved in the Australian government funded AWA program to install drinking water technology in select areas of Cambodia
  • Meet the Australian and Cambodian water utilities involved in the Water Utility Improvement Program and discuss opportunities to have your technology piloted within the Cambodian utilities
  • Site visit to a water utility in the Phnom Penh regency
  • Dedicated space within Australian pavilion
  • Receive information on the Cambodia water market, investment opportunities and rules and regulations
  • Meet with leaders from across the Cambodia water sector
  • Participate in Australia and Cambodia technical cooperation seminar

Vietnam

Vietwater 2019: 4-8 November, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Building from the Australian delegations to Vietwater’15, 16, 17 and 18, the Association is coordinating the 5th Australian delegation to Vietwater 2019 which attracts over 15,000 delegates from over 500 countries.  The delegation includes a booth within the Australian pavilion, workshop speaking roles, business introductions, site tours to water facilitates and networking events.  Delegates will have their company details profiled in the Vietnam National Digital Technology Exchange Platform that will connect you with up to 20,000 Vietnamese agencies including private sector, government, R&D and water utilities from across Vietnam drawing from the Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology database.

  •          Receive information on Vietnam water market, investment opportunities, rules and regulations

  •          Participate in Australia and Vietnam technical cooperation seminar
  •          Participate in Networking events

Delegates joining Vietwater’19 will have their company profile entered into the National Digital Technology Exchange Platform (NDTEP) that provide an artificial intelligence-based business matching platform connecting the supply of innovative water technologies with up to 20,000 Vietnamese agencies including private sector, government, R&D and water utilities from across Vietnam.  The NDTEP will generate business introductions for you in Vietnam with introductions being planned during the Australian delegation to Vietwater’19.

Indonesia

Indonesia Water & Wastewater Expo & Forum: 18-20 September 2019, Jakarta, Indonesia
The event, hosted by AWA’s MoU partner and the peak water supply association of Indonesia (PERPAMSI), offers the opportunity to network with more than 200 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors from 10 countries and regions. AWA will be coordinating exhibition space in the Australian Pavilion, business matching workshops, workshops with the Indonesian and Australian utilities involved in the Water Utility Improvement Program, a networking night and site tour to water treatment facilities.
