Come and join the SA YWP for their end of year amazing race event to be held on Thursday 2 December 2021.
Beginning in Hindmarsh Square, teams will be provided with a map and instructions in order to make their way through the city solving clues and overcoming challenges, while collecting points along the way. The team that has the most points and finishes with the quickest time will be awarded the winner’s prize, which will be presented by our sponsor Aurecon at the final networking location
Race details
Date : Thursday 2 December 2021
Time : Arrive at 4.15pm for a run through, officially starting the race at 4.30pm
Start location: Hindmarsh Square – Look for the AWA sign!
What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle
Networking event details
Location: To be provided through clues along the way
Time: Expecting teams to arrive before 7pm
Food and drinks will be provided as part of the purchased ticket
Teams
Teams are 5 people and will be allocated by the committee prior to the race. If you have a team of 5 before the event, send an email to Jack.Carbone@aurecongroup.com with the group of 5 to ensure you can run the race together!
COVIDSafe Event Guidelines:
The Australian Water Association has closely followed Government recommendations to develop COVIDSafe Guidelines for AWA events going forward. These guidelines will be in place at this event and have been developed to ensure attendee health and safety. Your support is also essential to keep this event COVIDSafe. We ask that delegates observe good hygiene and physical distancing at the event, where possible. If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the event. Please email events@awa.asn.au at least 24 hours prior to the event if you are unable to attend due to illness. Under these circumstances a transfer of your registration to a colleague will be accepted at no cost. If Government restrictions impact your ability to attend, or AWA's ability to hold the event, an AWA team member will be in touch to discuss your registration.
