Ozwater’22 may not have officially opened until this morning, but there was plenty of action yesterday as conference delegates arrived in Brisbane.
As well as a small number of workshops, delegates were treated to a cleansing and smoking ceremony, performed by the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Company, cleansing the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition and promoting the well-being of delegates while visiting Yuggera Country.
The traditional ceremony was followed by the Welcome Reception, sponsored by ServiceStream and offering drinks and casual networking.
