Don’t miss these highlights during week 2 of Ozwater’20 Online

With two inspiring keynote speakers, engaging technical presentations, podcasts and a virtual happy hour, the first week of Ozwater’20 Online is complete! Here’s what you can expect from week two.

The best part of Ozwater’20 Online is that, unlike the traditional event, you don’t need to miss a thing. Aside from the keynotes, all presentations are recorded and will be available for four months following the event to all registered delegates.

Start streaming

Themed streams are an important part of Ozwater, helping you find the topics you’re most interested in. The week two streams cover a wide range of topics, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

A Day 3 (9 June) highlight will be the COVID-19 sessions (Stream 1), covering practical responses and recovery approaches for water utilities. Other streams will include presentations on topics ranging from catchment management to novel wastewater treatment and customer engagement. 

Day 4 (11 June) will give attendees the chance to learn about advanced wastewater management, water quality risk management, and odour and corrosion control.

Week 2 is also industry safety and wellbeing week at, with utilities and water businesses sharing their insights. Look out for the 'Keeping our people safe whilst working alone' session, detailing how Allwater uses an app to keep its staff safe, and 'Live well – A new way forward for workplace safety', which will look at how Icon Water shifted its safety paradigm.

Just because Ozwater’20 is an online event, it doesn’t mean attendees can’t connect! After logging in to the event platform make sure you check out the intelligent networking feature, which will recommend other attendees for you to network with based on the sessions you want and the content you download.

Industry recognition 

Another great way to network is to attend the Ozwater’20 virtual happy hours. The happy hour on Day 4 (11 June) will be even more exciting than usual, with a range of Australian Water Awards winners announced. 

Tune in to catch all the action and find out who will take out the top gong in the Research Innovation, Program Innovation, Infrastructure Project and Water Industry Safety Excellence categories.
