Specialist Networks-Water Literacy and Education

YOUR WATER LITERACY & EDUCATION SPECIALIST NETWORK

The purpose of this network is to connect AWA members who have a passion for driving increased water literacy and education in schools and the wider community. Through the sharing of knowledge and experience, the goal is to expand the scope, scale and impact of water education.

MEET THE COMMITTEE

This committee brings together water practitioners and academics with a passion for sharing water knowledge with the wider community and schools.  The main conduits to increasing water literacy in our communities are water utilities, local councils and schools. Many of the committee members actively engage in water literacy and education programs through their organisations. They aim to inspire any individual and organisation working with water to embrace similar programs and to expand their network of connections with schools.

The Committee meets every month and welcomes input and feedback from all members of the network.
