  • Senior Management role in Australia’s leading Industry Association – Water Sector 
  • Lead and manage the implementation of a range of new IT & technology platforms
  • Work with a really passionate team striving to have a positive impact on water sustainability 

In this newly created role you are ultimately accountable for developing and effectively leading the implementation of improved IT and technology platforms across the Association nationally. St. Leonards based.

This critical role forms part of our Senior Management team and will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer and will be required to prepare Board papers to submit and present to the Board. 

Specifically, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a 3-year roadmap for IT and Technology upgrades and integration, including:

  • Conducting a review of current software & hardware and providing recommendations to meet long term business requirements.
  • Leading the transition from existing to new systems, including the Finance and Event Registrations systems, as well as creating a single intranet platform 
  • Facilitating the design and implementation of a new nationally consistent ‘document library’ 
  • Providing recommendations for an on-going CRM platform including assessing the current system, future database needs, alternative products, cost and benefit analysis.
  • Managing the use and integration of all new technology across the Association, including managing the design and functionality of all websites, applications and other tech products.
  • Managing all third-party contractors and suppliers of IT and Technology

The Person

  • 5-10 years’ experience in a similar senior IT and Technology management role  
  • Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to lead and manage change effectively
  • Experience in leading and implementing new IT and technology systems
  • Commercial acumen with proven P & L accountability
  • Comfortable managing a budget with the ability to plan and forecast effectively 
  • Great communication and relating skills across all levels
  • Excellent time management, organisational and project management skills to manage financial and strategic performance 
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff
  • Ability to prepare accurate and well-presented financial and management reports
  • Absolute discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality

DIGITAL PRODUCER - 6 month contract

We are looking for an experienced Digital Producer to join our marketing team on a 6-month contract, to develop and coordinate the Association’s web presence and deliver web-based projects across a variety of programs.

The role
  • Design, develop and maintain all Association websites with a commitment to constant improvement, maintenance of content currency and accuracy
  • Design html newsletters and manage the electronic dissemination of all marketing related programs which includes:
  • Maintain the online document library ensuring all documents are relevant and up to date.
  • Manage the Association’s YouTube channel, uploading and minor video editing.
  • Maintain the Association’s online publication platform ISSUU, including uploading digital/online publications.
  • Assist with social media marketing activities and with graphic design when required at peak times
  • Prepare statistical analysis and reports as required
Success is….

  • Relevant tertiary quals (i.e. IT/ Web Design/ Digital Marketing) & at least 3-4 years in a similar role
  • A sound understanding of current web trends and innovations
  • A good understanding of digital principles & requirements & their relation to user experience
  • Confidence in using content management systems (ideally iMIS RiSE & Drupal) and in building and designing websites
  • Experience in graphic, multimedia & design, using graphic applications such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
  • Experience in coordinating digital marketing campaigns and in digital and social media
  • Experience in SEO and Google Analytics with excellent analytical/problem solving skills
  • Experience with Kompozer, Worldmerge and Campaign Monitor is a plus
  • Confident, engaging & compelling communications skills
  • Excellent time management skills, is self-organised & adaptable
  • Remain calm under pressure, can prioritise and work on multiple & diverse projects
  • Meticulous and have a great eye for detail
