Nick will be reviewing the latest technical developments in DPR in the USA and findings from Water Corporation’s community engagement process to define an approach that could deliver DPR as a source in Western Australian’s socio-political environment.
Nick is heavily involved in the assessment of innovative alternative water supply options. Nick pioneered groundwater replenishment in Western Australia and is currently looking at whether this could transition to direct potable reuse – eliminating the environmental buffer. Nick has worked for his entire career in the water industry, in the fields of consulting, contracting, marketing, research, and for the last fifteen years with the Water Corporation. Nick has a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Water Resources Technology.
