EACH FOR EQUAL, an event to celebrate International Women's Day, organised by Melbourne Water and the Australian Water Association.
The event will celebrate the contribution that women have made and continue to make in our organisations and community. Our diverse group of speakers will speak on the 2020 theme ‘Each for Equal’ from multiple diverse perspectives, reflecting on how their experiences as women intersect with other individual aspects of diversity, including culture and disability.

Melbourne Water and AWA are both committed to work towards full inclusion and diversity among the workforce, events and other platforms. Embracing diversity leads to a better understanding of and engagement with, the people we work with and the communities in which we work.
Melbourne Water aims to be as diverse and vibrant as the community it serves, embracing different perspectives and supporting all its people to achieve fulfilling careers and lives.
The Australian Water Association's Channeling Change Program focuses on increasing equality and diversity in the water sector, across the membership base and with stakeholders nationally.
Our joint goal is to lead by example and foster support for a more diverse and inclusive sector.
