Most progressive and stringent green building program - Get Inspired at this SA AWA State Conference ...

The Living Building Challenge is rapidly capturing the public imagination globally and transforming expectations of built environments. With lofty imperatives like net zero energy, net zero water, adapted to climate, promoting health and wellbeing, and beauty.

At this year’s AWA State Branch Conference hear our keynote speaker, Ken Long, share his passion for creating buildings which are good for the environment and enable positivity and wellbeing. Ken will inspire and provoke thoughtful discussion about the future of resource management, including water, in our cities.

Ken is a sustainability consultant based in Adelaide. Trained as an architect in New York, Ken has travelled the world in pursuit of sustainable solutions in the built environment. He chairs the Adelaide Sustainable Building Network, and is an Ambassador of the International Living Future Institute, which actively promotes the Living Building Challenge.

Ken will share with us case studies of Living Building projects from Australia, New Zealand and globally to showcase how in real life these projects are not only pushing the boundaries for technology and design, but also helping to create productive and thriving communities

The keynote will be followed by a panel of experts from various sectors of the Water Sector to provide thought provoking comments and insights from their perspective.
