The Conference will present a broad range of presentations related to the water industry and the vital services it provides to the North Queensland community and surrounding environment to enable health, amenity and prosperity.

Through tourism and industry, the North Queensland region is a major contributor to the Queensland economy. These vital industries and the accompanying workforce require fundamental services that make the whole North Queensland region a great place to live and invest. To support this, the water industry must do more than just provide clean drinking water and must be fully engaged with the community to deliver services that provide a foundation for liveability.

The conference will continue to provide the strong technical and social direction that has become synonymous with the event in previous years. Papers and keynote sessions will provide insights into the emerging trends and challenges in the region – from high-tech solutions to low-cost, minimalist ideas. Your standard operating procedure could be the solution to somebody else’s challenge. Supporting the conference is the Trade Exhibition, where delegates will have the opportunity to see all the latest water products and services on the market.  The Conference provides several networking opportunities for delegates and exhibitors including Meet the Trade Drinks and the Conference Dinner on Wednesday 14 August.

The series of North Queensland Regional Conferences have been very successful over the years, with over 130 people attending recent regional conferences.

2. A one-day conference registrations does not include a dinner ticket. Should you wish to attend the dinner, you must purchase a dinner ticket ($100) in addition to your registration.
