Biosolids National Conference 2021
This event has been postponed from 4-5 March 2021 due to the impacts of COVID-19. The event has now been relaunched and is open for registrations! Early Bird Registration closes on Tuesday, 31 August.





The Australian Water Association (AWA) and Australian & New Zealand Biosolids Partnership (ANZBP) biennial Biosolids Conference will be held from Wednesday 6th – Thursday 7th October 2021 in Sydney. This conference will examine key developments across areas of the water industry and drive discussion, debates and collaboration which will help set the future direction for these specialisms. 

The conference will bring together experts from the Biosolids arena and a technical program has been curated to ensure quality and a broad representation of case studies with an emphasis on problem sharing and solving.

FAQs
Q. I am based outside of NSW and have concerns about my travel. Is there an online option available?
A. At this point, the Keynote Presentations and Panel Discussions on both Day 1 & Day 2 will be available for Live Stream as well as On-Demand. The ticket does not include the technical presentations, but you will have access to all conference proceedings and poster artwork online. 

Q. If the event gets cancelled due to COVID-19, will I get my registration fee back?
A. In the event of a COVID-19 outbreak, if Government restrictions prevent us from running the event as scheduled, it will be postponed to a future date. The Association will retain your registration fee as credit and inform all delegates once the new event date is confirmed.

Q. Where can I find information about current quarantine hotels?
A. You may find the recommended list of accommodations above, however the list is subject to change based on the quarantine status at each accommodation. Please check with them before completing your booking.

Q. Can I bring my partner to the dinner?
A. Absolutely! Dinner tickets are only available to Conference Delegates, and you may purchase an additional ticket as an add-on once you are on the registration page. 

COVIDSafe Event Guidelines: 

The Australian Water Association has closely followed Government recommendations to develop COVIDSafe Guidelines for AWA events going forward. These guidelines will be in place at this event and have been developed to ensure attendee health and safety. Your support is also essential to keep this event COVIDSafe. We ask that delegates observe good hygiene and physical distancing at the event, where possible. If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the event. Please email events@awa.asn.au at least 24 hours prior to the event if you are unable to attend due to illness. Under these circumstances a transfer of your registration to a colleague will be accepted at no cost. Late cancellations may attract a cancellation fee. Refunds will not be provided for no shows.
