SA YWP Sundowner - Water and Wine

SA YWP Sundowner - Water and Wine

The Young Water Professionals of the SA AWA Branch are excited to invite you to their third 2021 SA Sundowner Series, for after-work drinks, interesting guest speakers and informal networking and discussion held on the Thursday 17th June 2021 from 5:15pm to 6:30pm.

Join us for regular after-work sundowner drinks and informal networking hosted every other month by the AWA SA Young Water Professionals. Special guest speakers will be invited throughout the series to explore a wide range of topics through a short presentation and discussion. These events are open to anyone with an interest in the water industry and present an opportunity to meet and catch up with other professionals.

This is a free event where you can grab your drink(s) of choice, however registration on the evening is required to ensure safety of all.

We really look forward to seeing all in person! Members and non-Members welcome.

Guest Speaker

Dan Eggleton, CEO and Principal Consultant at Vinous Consulting and Winemaker and Co-Owner at Ben Murray Wines.

If you want to understand the importance of water in the production of this alcoholic drink typically made from fermented grapes, Dan will talk about the water usage and water re-use within the wine industry. He will also bring the discussion to challenge the status quo on how future solutions can be engineered to maximise process efficiencies and minimise impacts on the environment.

Come and learn more about this exciting topic with Dan and see the next glass of wine with a different perspective!

Dan started his career by working for his family in vineyards in the Sunraysia Victoria. He then moved to a production role leading to a journey to self-taught winemaker, winery operator, international marketing and product development. He is now a supplier of premium products and equipment for industry, working closely with winemakers and offering leadership and management consultancy.

Dan also volunteers within his community and look to give back to ensure that his kids grow up in an environment that is better tomorrow than it was yesterday.
