Fat - a topic high on the conversational agenda for households, restaurants and food manufacturers nationwide. Millions of dollars every year go into managing the impacts of the waste food, fats, oils and grease (FFOG) we put down our drains.
With ever growing populations and an aging water infrastructure adding to the challenge, Australian water authorities are keen to embrace ever more efficient approaches to managing FFOG, and recently we caught up with John Ryan of Yarra Valley Water who will be presenting at Ozwater’16 on the steps that are being taken to address these obstacles.
