Water Research Innovation Precinct Tour The Water Research and Innovation Precinct (WRIP) is creating a sustainable and cleaner water future for Western Australia. Located in Subiaco, the Water Research and Innovation Precinct is a collaborative workspace developing new and innovative wastewater treatment and resource recovery technologies. By collaborating with global technology providers, research institutions and local industry we hope to make improvements in efficiency, sustainability and a create a positive legacy. On this tour participants will learn about Water Corporation’s wastewater treatment journey, from a serious health and environmental problem, to a valued resource that is now recycled into drinking water. There are many research projects to see with a focus on wastewater treatment, resource recovery and greenhouse gas reduction. |
