ACT Water Matters Conference 2023

Written by Bridget Masters | Jun 6, 2023 1:38:51 AM

The ACT Water Matters Conference is the premier event on the ACT water industry calendar.

Join us for a day packed full of conversations about current projects and research in the ACT and regional NSW water space. Join in on robust discussions and get further insight into how the water industry will manage in these times.

This year our Program reflects work across multiple areas within the ACT and Regional NSW Water Sector. From research into customer approval of PRW use in a regional town to conversations on how to balance water supply with biodiversity along the regions river systems. Hear from Minister Shane Rattenbury MLA and other leaders from across the ACT Water Sector and take this unapparelled opportunity to ask some of your big questions.

Enhancing Indigenous Engagement in Water Panel Session
This year we are proud to host a panel session looking at how the sector can take meaningful action to increase and enhance Indigenous engagement in water.
Facilitated by Maritsa Kacopieros, GHD, hear from our panelists and take this opportunity to learn about your role in making change.

Panelists:
Dr. Phil Duncan, EPIC CRC
Adam Lovell, WSAA
Rachel Thorne, DCCEEW
Brad Bell, Ngunnawal Traditional Custodian

The conference deliberately seeks to provide a forum where technical learnings are celebrated and personal growth is commended with papers and presentations targeted at enhancing our industry through SHARED experiences, CONNECTED membership, and INSPIRED individuals.
