SA Minister's Breakfast 2026

This breakfast is a fabulous opportunity to hear from the Hon Nick Champion MP, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Minister for Housing Infrastructure, Minister for Planning and Member for Taylor and the Hon Nicola Centofanti MLC, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, Shadow Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development; and for Water.


Network with fellow water professionals as you enjoy a seated plated breakfast while hearing from the Ministers. There will be time for questions and the morning will conclude with some additional networking time.     

Nick Champion has spent much of his working life advocating for workers’ rights and representing his local community.

Mr Champion served as Shadow Assistant Minister for Manufacturing and Science and was Deputy Chair of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade having served as the Member for Wakefield and Spence from 2007.

Mr Champion resigned from Federal Parliament to contest the State seat of Taylor at the 2022 State Election.

Upon his election to State Parliament, Mr Champion joined the Malinauskas Labor Government’s Cabinet, holding the portfolios of Housing and Urban Development, Housing Infrastructure and Planning as he strives to deliver more housing for South Australia.

Nicola Centofanti is the Leader of the Opposition in the South Australian Legislative Council and Shadow Minister for Primary Industries, Regional Development and Water.

Having grown up on a horticultural property in the Riverland, Nicola has first-hand experience of how critical reliable water is to farming families, regional industries and the communities that depend on them. That lived experience continues to shape her strong focus on water security and sustainable resource management.

A veterinarian, small business owner and Riverland local, Nicola brings deep practical understanding of regional and rural South Australia to her role.

She is a passionate advocate for families, small businesses and local decision-making, and is driven by a strong commitment to protecting South Australia’s agricultural industries and precious water resources.
