WA North West Region – Water Facility Study Tour 2019
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST OPEN. The WA Branch is looking to arrange a study tour of some of the north west region’s water and mining facilities. Hear from local experts on water challenges & technologies and connect with other water professionals. Taking place over 2 days commencing on Thursday 30 May until Friday 31 May, across multiple locations in the Karratha region; it promises to be insightful, collaborative and educational.

The Study tour is a great way to network, learn more about the experiences, successes and challenges faced by industries based in the north-west of WA (including utilities, mining, agriculture etc.) in relation to water use and management. Locations will include the Yara Pilbara Fertiliser plant, Dampier Salt and Water Corporation's Harding Dam and Harding Dam Ultrafiltration Water Treatment Plant with another facility to be confirmed.

The tour will also include bus transport from Karratha with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea both days. Dinner will be at the Hampton Harbour Sailing & Boat Club on Thursday night and Friday night dinner at Churrasco Brazilian BBQ at the Onyx Bar - both dinners will include guest speakers. Please note you will need to make your own travel arrangements to Karratha.
