VIC YWP Seminar PD 2 - WASH - 7 Sept 2017

VIC YWP Seminar PD 2 - WASH - 7 Sept 2017
Don't miss Part 2 of the annual seminar series for Young Water Professionals in Victoria - "WASH in challenging environments"

The Australian Government’s Health for Development Strategy 2015-2016 identified investments in the access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) as being an essential foundation for people’s health and quality of life. The 2016-17 budget estimate for Australia’s assistance for WASH is $46.2 million.

The purpose of this Professional Development Seminar is to provide an insight into the importance of WASH in improving health and livelihoods and lifting living standards. This seminar will also provide an opportunity to learn about recent work happening in this field and some of the ways young professionals can get involved, individually or through their employer.
