Our speakers:

KEYNOTE - Bridget Thakrar leads the People and Safety group at South East Water (SEW), responsible for overseeing the key functions of human resources, employee experience, payroll, and safety and wellbeing. Bridget brings a wealth of experience in her field gained from working across a variety of industries including construction and 
manufacturing. Bridget sits on the board of Dress for Success South East Melbourne and is an Activator as part of the SheEO movement.

Associate Professor Nick McGuigan works as an Innovator, Instigator and Disruptor in the Monash Business School to create future-oriented business education programs that focus on innovation, creativity and design thinking. He has a particular passion for accountability and co-founded ‘The Accountability Institute’, a progressive platform with an aim of fostering collaborations between art, science, technology and economics.

Associate Professor Gene Bawden is Head of Monash Art,  Design and Architecture (MADA) Design Department. His research and design practice embraces the confluence of the material, the visual and the spatial, and the narratives of belonging articulated in each.

Associate Professor Nicole Kalms is founding director of the XYX Lab which leads national research in Space, Gender and Communication. Nicole works within the Monash University's Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture where she is focused on cross-disciplinary teaching and research.

Dr. Alessandro Ghio is a Lecturer in Accounting at Monash Business School. Alessandro has an in-depth knowledge of inclusion issues having researched and published about diversity in the accounting profession.
