Where the Waters Meet 2018 Tasmania Annual Conference
The Australian Water Association Tasmania Annual State Conference is the premier water event on the TAS Calendar featuring a members-only breakfast, full day conference proceedings, trade exhibition and plenty of networking opportunities.

Where the Waters Meet, the annual Tasmanian state conference of the Australian Water Association, will be held on 16 August 2018 and we want you to be a part of the day! With record numbers of expressions of interest, we have put together a fantastic line-up starting with our
breakfast keynote address by Ciara Sterling
, Head of Community Inclusion at Yarra Valley Water and the 2018 National Water Professional of the Year. Ciara will speak at our members-only breakfast about engaging communities through partnerships and the WaterCare initiative.
Kicking off our conference is
keynote speaker Campbell Newman
, the Chairman of Arcana Capital. Campbell previously held the role of Premier of Queensland from 2012 to 2015 leading an ambitious program of reform to restore the State’s finances, kickstart the economy and revitalise the public service. Prior to this, Campbell served as Lord Mayor of Brisbane from 2004 to 2011 and was involved in the conception and delivery of major infrastructure projects. In 2009 he was awarded the Infrastructure Partnerships Australia Chairman’s Award for Infrastructure Leadership. In his opening address at this year's conference, Campbell will speak about Agriculture & Robotics – the Next Green Revolution.
