SA SITE TOUR - 1414 DEGREES THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM

SA SITE TOUR - 1414 DEGREES THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM
Join the SA Technical Committee for this tour of the Zero Cost Energy Future project's Thermal Energy Storage System.

As SA Water continues to strive towards its objective to achieve zero net electricity costs within its operations, this site tour will focus on one of the key energy storage trials being undertaken by SA Water and South Australian energy innovator 1414 Degrees Ltd. The world first pilot plant, installed at the Glenelg Wastewater Treatment Plant, provides thermal energy storage powered by biogas generated from the wastewater treatment process. After meeting at the Allwater site office to sign in, the tour will commence with a light breakfast followed by technical presentations and a tour of the recently commissioned facilities. Jordan Parham of 1414 Degrees and Kevin Ross of SA Water will provide an update on the project and report on initial results from plant operation.
