The 2020 Water Security Briefing is an opportunity to hear from the Minister for Environment and Water and SA Water’s newly appointed Chief Executive on the key challenges they see for water security across South Australia.
Kaurna man Mr Jack Buckskin’s Welcome to Country will begin the morning’s briefing, and the event will include keynote speeches from:
• The Hon David Speirs, Minister for Environment and Water; and
• Mr David Ryan CEO, SA Water
Speeches will be followed by a moderated Q&A panel-style discussion with the Minister and Mr Ryan .
This event is an invaluable opportunity for industry to connect with the two most important roles in the state’s water sector, establishing a bond of trust and understanding around management of water in the state. For our audience of members and water sector guests, the event also offers the opportunity participate in a (moderated) conversation about key issues, as well as to gain direct insight into vision and strategic direction for the state.
This is a not-to-be-missed chance to engage with Minister Speirs and Mr Ryan on an issue of crucial importance not only in South Australia but nationally and globally.
Questions from the audience for the speakers will be submitted via Mentimeter interactive engagement software.
