QLD Technical Meeting - October 2019
Join the QLD branch for the October technical meeting on SEQ Design and Construction Code eBooks.

Staff from the five SEQ service providers that oversee the infrastructure standards detailed in the SEQ Design and Construction Code will present recent enhancements to the Code.

In July and August, the Gravity Sewerage Code and the Water Supply Code were released in a fully integrated eBook format. How to get maximum value out of these eBooks will be a focus of the presentation.
The speakers will also answer questions lodged prior to the meeting. Questions can be submitted to:

This presentation will include:

  • A short retrospective – how we got to here
  • Future initiatives – what’s next
  • Answers to questions lodged prior to the meeting
  • Demonstration of the eBook software


David Fillmore, Infrastructure Standards Manager, Unitywater

David has been part of the committee overseeing the implementation of the SEQ Code since the first meeting in 2011. David, and other members of the SEQ Code Network, gave presentations to AWA technical meetings in February 2012 and February 2014.

Andrew McGrath – Senior Engineer Standards, Queensland Urban Utilities

Andrew is a civil engineer with over 15 years experience working in the Australian water industry and has held the role of standards engineer within QUU for approximately three (3) years.

Don Stolee – Managing Director, eGloo Technologies and TekReader

Don is the founder and Manager of eGloo Technologies. Since 1988 Don has been involved with document and information management systems based on structured languages. He has been involved with planning, coordinating and delivering complex data conversion and application development projects. Don is the face of the tekReader Product Platform and is behind the push for divining its business and commercial success. He also oversees all operational aspects and is responsible for exploring strategic initiatives that include partnerships and potential joint ventures.
