Leith has many years’ experience in business and natural resource management, particularly water, at local, state and national levels.
In addition to SunWater, Leith is also Chairman of Palgrove and also serves on the Boards of Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited, Isis Central Sugar Mill, and Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority. She is also a member of the Australian Water Partnership Committee.
Leith was formerly Chairman of Healthy Waterways and Wide Bay Water Corporation, and a Director of Seqwater and CRC for Water Sensitive Cities.
Seqwater - Chief Executive
Neil joins Seqwater with a 32-year history in the Victorian water industry, most recently as Managing Director of Western Water. He has also been Interim Managing Director of Goulburn Murray Water, Managing Director at Central Highlands Water and has held various Ministerial appointments to industry committees including as Director of the Board of the Energy and Water Ombudsman Scheme Victoria, Executive Council Member of the Institute of Water Administration, and Chair of the Victorian water industry's Intelligent Water Networks Steering Group. Neil holds a Graduate Diploma in Management, a Master of Business Leadership and has completed the Oxford Advanced Management Programme.
Executive Director - Water Supply Division - Department of Natural Resources, Mines, and Energy
Bernadette commenced in this role in October 2018. Prior to that she was Senior Director, North Queensland Team, Department of the Premier and Cabinet Bernadette has worked in state government water functions for over 25 years, largely dealing with water policy issues including working on development of the Water Act 2000, state engagement on the National Water Initiative and managing demand at the Queensland Water Commission during the Millennium Drought. Bernadette now manages a team that works closely with the water sector to facilitate the investigation and delivery of state water infrastructure projects, to undertake regional water supply planning, and oversee economic regulation and governance of the States bulk water providers.
