A partnership project funded by AWA and the NSW
Government's Water for Life Program
The Water Education Resources Directory is a national
on-line directory which focuses on school and community education. It
provides a space for providers and developers of water-related education
resources and programs to list and categorise them so that they can be
found by users searching the directory's database.
The Directory aims to provide a comprehensive catalogue
of water-related resources and programs that target school students and
the community in Australia. Education providers and users can connect
with each other after searching the Water Education Resources Directory
and then make direct contact with the resource/program owner.
Ultimately, we hope that this will assist in networking, promote the
sharing of leading practice education program and resource models, and
prevent reinventing the wheel.
Providers, creators and managers of school and community
water education programs and resources are encouraged to upload content
into the directory. There is a simple registration step and once
providers have received their password they are able to enter details of
relevant resources and programs which are uploaded instantly for public
view.
The Water Education Resources Directory will only be as
good as the content it contains so please ensure that your
organisation's education and communications information is up to
date.
