The AWA NSW Branch Water Awards is the highest accolade that currently exists in the NSW Water Industry. The NSW awards have been designed to acknowledge the best of the best in the NSW Water Sector as well as recognise exceptional achievements in a range of project and individual categories.    Building on past success the 2011 Awards are in line with the AWA National Awards and provide the opportunity for the NSW winners to enter in the National Awards which are presented at Ozater each year.

The NSW Branch also has the privilege of the Peter Cullen Scholarship being presented at the NSW Awards Evening.  The NSW Government announced the creation of the Peter Cullen Scholarship in 2008 and each year the number of entries grows as does the number of people who attend the event.  

One very important aspect of the Water Industry Awards is the number of entries that are received from Regional NSW and the Awards have become the vehicle that showcases the outstanding work that is being carried out across the state. Help us to recognise these contributions by nominating yourself, your organisation or someone else.  

Closing Date for all submissions is Monday 31 October 2011.

Presentation of awards will be February 2012.
