- Installation of one drinking water membrane treatment tower at Chieng Mai Primary School, providing up to 10,000 L/day of safe drink water.
- Handover of 20 small membrane water treatment filters in locations of greatest community impact. This small filters each deliver up to 100 L/day of safe drinking water
This technology has been earmarked for providing safe drinking water, low cost, easy to operate and maintain.
As part of this project, the technology provider SkyJuice also provides training for the Son La PCERWASS, Community Leaders and School representatives from Chieng Mai and Chieng Ban commune on operation and maintenance of the technology. Women will be involved in the water distribution arrangement through the provincial Women’s Union.
If proven as economic viable business, the water kiosks will be replicated in other communities in Son La and then to other provinces.
